In the meantime, they contributed a version of Woody Guthrie's
Jesus Christ recorded at Sun Studios
in Memphis to the Woody Guthrie/Leadbelly Tribute Album
Folkways - A Vision Shared.
With the film completed and an album ready for release, the Bo
Diddley-influenced Desire stormed
the UK charts, entering at number one. The Rattle
And Hum album followed, also entering in the number one slot.
The Billie Holliday-tribute Angel Of
Harlem consolidated with a top ten entry.
